New first year and transfer students can participate in the Saluki Sprint. Registration opens Summer 2026.

Saluki Sprint!

Take part in SIU's long-standing tradition of welcoming students to the Saluki Family!  All new students are invited to "sprint" across the field at Saluki Stadium before the first home football game!
