New Student Programs hosts a contest for your family to be named Family of the Year during Saluki Family Weekend every Fall. A committee will select one legacy* family and one non-legacy family for our contest! *Legacy = parent or guardian is an SIU Carbondale graduate.
The Families of the Year will receive an exclusive prize package that includes:
1-night stay at Drury Inn and Suites in Marion, IL (can be used for Family Weekend or another date)
Saluki Merchandise
Recognition at half time and plenty of family photos
