You're invited to our Saluki Family Tailgate hosted by the Saluki Family Association! Follow the Saluki Family Tailgate signs south of Saluki Stadium.

Meet our partners from the Achieve Program, Student Recreation Center, and Touch of Nature Outdoor Recreation Center. Best of all, the event is FREE to students and their families!
New Student Programs hosts a contest for your family to be named Family of the Year during Saluki Family Weekend every Fall. A committee will select one legacy* family and one non-legacy family for our contest!
*Legacy = parent or guardian is an SIU Carbondale graduate.
The Families of the Year will receive an exclusive prize package that includes:

1-night stay at Drury Inn and Suites in Marion, IL (can be used for Family Weekend or another date)

Recognition at half time and plenty of family photos
