The Achieve Program is a supplemental fee-based academic consultation and support service. Air Force ROTC
The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps’ (AFROTC) mission is to produce leaders for the Air Force. AFROTC is a military training program designed to give well-qualified men and women the opportunity to train for leadership positions as officers in the Air Force while completing a college degree.

ARMY ROTC
Army ROTC is a leadership development program that allows current SIU students to participate in Army ROTC while attending SIUC. As the first two years requires no commitment, there are many financial opportunities as a Cadet in Army ROTC. From the Illinois State Tuition Wavier, to Cadet subsistence pay, as well as the possible scholarship opportunities. Army ROTC provides financial opportunities to offset the cost of school.

Alumni Association
The SIU Alumni Association is the oldest and largest organization at SIU Carbondale, having been established in 1896 and serving an alumni population of roughly 250,000. The Association is a gateway for alumni to reconnected and engaged with their alma mater, as well as a network for students seeking opportunities for their education and beyond.

Campus Misintries
Campus Ministries is an association for faith communities active at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Membership is open to all religious groups recognized by the university. Each faith community organizes its own activities. The overall goals of Campus Ministries are to connect students to their particular faith community, to promote spiritual growth, and to support the relevancy of religious expression on our university campus.

Center for Learning Support Services
Tutoring is available to all on-campus SIU students. The Center for Learning Support Services provides tutoring primarily for 100 and 200 level Core Curriculum courses and select upper level courses. Academic Coaching is a service available to all on-campus SIU students. Academic Coaching consists of weekly one hour, individualized sessions in which the Academic Coach assists the student with a variety of academic skills and techniques.

Center for Service-Learning and Volunteerism (CSLV)
The Center for Service-Learning and Volunteerism (CSLV) connects students to volunteer opportunities and local needs that align with their interests and coursework. Dawg Pound
The Dawg Pound is SIU's official student section for all athletic events. The Dawg Pound is active all year and has events and giveaways connected to all of our athletic programs.
The Dawg Pound is open to all current SIU students and joining the Dawg Pound will provide students early access to special events, trips to away games as well as early access to giveaways and other promotions but most importantly the Dawg Pound allows students to get involved the second the step foot on campus and cheer on the Salukis to victory!

Marching Salukis
The Marching Salukis provide entertainment and school spirit at countless SIU athletic events. Over 175 strong, the members of the band represent every college and major in the University. The student employment program was designed to provide students with part-time employment experience, supplemental income, and educational benefits outside the classroom.
